Our ethnocentric country has no idea that we are repeating the very same thing they did to the education system in the United Kingdom already! I guess I really shouldn't be so surprised by the irony, but it appears that England started the descent before America and yet we can't see the forest through the trees! Just like dumping money into the broken auto industry, we are trying to use the same unsuccessful remedies to revive the broken education system. It's amazing how stupid the people with power are. Or maybe they knowingly use proven ineffective means because they want society to fail. What else is propaganda and brainwashing for? Isn't it to make people think they are using their brains to make their own choices when, in reality, they are only conforming because they've been deceived into thinking they're thinking. We are raising an entire generation of non-thinkers. Can you fathom how dangerous that is?
