Not again!

I can't believe they've announced that school will be closed AGAIN tomorrow! James is SO bored. Everyone is out driving today so I don't understand why they are keeping the schools closed. Everything else is open, so why not the schools? Sure, there's still ice but the eaves on buildings are dripping even if the sun decided to hide today. It is true that some areas, like the neighborhood of the woman I visit teach, are impossible to drive on because the roads are hilly and iced over, but most of Norman, and Oklahoma in general, is flat, especially where Norman schools are.

Rex is growing increasingly anxious to start his student teaching. Ironically, he'll still have to go to his Monday night class "to report," etc. even though he will not have even had the chance to be in the classroom yet because of the school closings. I think he's bored too. (But I don't think he'd appreciate it if I listed off chores for him to do. Instead, he takes the kids off my hands so I can do the chores -- I like that better anyway. Poor Rex is at his wit's end with the kids too.)
