Thanks to the warm reception Rex recieved in Texas recently, he is even more anxious to make our exodus from Oklahoma and convert to Texanism. We are all becoming more and more antsy about moving. Nearly every day, James makes some comment about how much he wants to go to Texas. He tells us how he wants a trampoline (something we want to get but didn't tell him), a pet (we have promised a cat), and a garden (they are doing a unit on spring time at school). The most prevelant request is to play with his cousins. (He calls Bryan "my Bryan.") Now Megan has joined in and says "Can we go to Texas now? Can I go to Cousin's house?"
To the Voglers who made him feel so loved and welcomed in Texas, thank you so much. I am overwhelmed with gratitude; I love that you love your brother-in-law/uncle so much. We are so excited to come join you and bask in the Texas culture. (Oh how good that carne asada burrito taste! I thought it wouldn't be very good after a days drive here, but it was even better than I remember them being! In Oklahoma, they think carne asada means grilled steak in a tortilla.)
