Playtime
When any of the kids play together, it’s really beautiful. I love watching Rex play light sabers with the kids. And he does an excellent job rough housing with them too, especially James, as strong as he is. I do my share of chasing, tickling, pretending to be kitties, and the like (which I must admit is not my first choice past-time, but it makes them happy). I introduced Isaac to Ring-Around-the-Rosie and he absolutely loves it, especially the falling down part. He also enjoys Duck-Duck-Goose, but he doesn’t understand it and frustrates Megan and James when he gets up to chase when it’s not his turn. (It makes Mom laugh however.) But the most beautiful games are those that don’t involve me: chasing, wrestling, and tickling with each other. It makes me so happy when Isaac initiates the games but even happier when James starts them.
