Are we voting for a VICE President?

I am SO glad Palin is not running for President. If McCain were president and he was killed, boy would I be scared for Palin to run the country. She CLEARLY lacks the experience and know-how. And she, like Bush, is incapable of answering a question! She just goes back to what she knows instead of facing the problem. Wow! I have to hand it to Biden at the the VP debate: he was quite a gentleman to let her rant with her smug little smile, even though she just talked in circles. I thought it was quite noble, and very strong for the team, that he constantly talked about what Obama was planning on doing instead of focusing on what he as VP was going to do, since, as he pointed out, the VP does not run the country. I also thought it refreshing that he sustained Obama by answering, no, he did not disagree with any of Obama's stances; it was disappointing to hear that Palin did in fact disagree with McCain quite a bit and that she planned on trying to change his mind, like a wife who wants to mold her husband into something he's not. Palin felt like she was putting on a show to prove that a woman was powerful enough to take on a nation one-handed. Thank goodness she's not who we are voting for! I just hope those feminists and drooling men remember that we are voting for a president when it comes time to vote.

After doing my research on their issues, the debates only confirmed my decision who I would be voting for. I certainly don't want another Bush; I didn't want him the first time and I sure as heck don't want a clone. I wish they'd take Palin out of the lime light and focus on the person we're really supposed to vote for. Was that McCain's plan? To distract the masses with this tough chick who touts her big family like she's "one of us"? I suppose she's got it right, "being one of us" -- women have families on the side like a trophy, even though they don't have ten minutes to spend taking care of them! That baby with down syndrome that she waves around like a medal of honorable motherhood is going to need a lot more of her time and attention than simply saying so.

The Presidential Debate wasn't as frustrating as the VP since both candidates were strong and knew what they were talking about, even if McCain kept trying to say otherwise about his opponent. I got frustrated with them dragging out the war issue; I wanted to hear more about issues other than the economy and the war, and I ended up turning it off with 20 minutes to go. But again, from what I did watch, it only strengthen my resolve against McCain.
