When Megan is fussing and crying all day long, Isaac's smile is my comfort and solace. Most of the time, he's a happy little tyke whose smile can light up the whole house. This past week has been one of tears all the way around. Today was no exception to the other miserable days of this week. After 2 hours of Isaac crying, the last half of which I threw up my hands and let Rex deal with him, I took him back to rock him and sing to him before bed and he immediate stopped crying, took his Doggy in hand and thumb in mouth, closed his eyes and leaned into me. He was asleep within 5 minutes. I didn't want to put him down - I enjoyed holding the quiet, peacefully sleeping child so much. The tranquility washed over me so I could be renewed for a pleasant evening with Rex.
