BS: Teacher satisfaction is up

I couldn't believe the NEA touted this recent article in Dallas Times entitled: Sandy Kress: Survey trumps stereotypes about teachers. The teacher's union is supposed to back the teachers, not the politicians! Apparently, "Austin attorney Sandy Kress served as the senior adviser to President George W. Bush on No Child Left Behind and previously served as president of the DISD board of trustees." That information alone discredits what he says. If you take the time to read his stupid article, don't forget to read all the comments left by teachers who refute the mythical statistics that "prove" teachers have more job satisfaction now than they ever have before. Most of those teacher comments come from people who've been in the profession for most of their lives.
