If I can't dance...

at least I can run. I miss dancing desperately, but I understand that the majority of women who love to dance fall in love with someone who doesn't. So, someday, I'd really like to try Zumba. But for now, I'm sticking with running since it's free (except for expensive shoes) and I can do it all by myself (now that I don't have to push little ones in the stroller) and even though it's actually NOT my favorite sport, it DOES make me feel good.

Sooo...after all this time, I have been running 4 to 5 miles most days now. I have been told that you reach a Runner's High after 3 miles, but I don't think that is so. At least for me, I can just endure more after many months of pushing myself. So, considering I'm not the best runner, 5 miles consistently (and in hilly territory) is a pretty good feat. I run about a 10 minute mile and I NEVER stop (because if I take a break, I can't get going again).

And I can eat all the chocolate I want....
